Arabian Night raises over £800.00

Thanks to the generosity of Claire’s Kitchen and the teachers and students of The Combe in Minehead, we have now reached our goal of £1,000.

Claire and the students put on the most amazing dining experience at the recent Arabian Nights.  The menu featured a lamb cooked on the spit plus many delicious dishes.  Three ladies from a local belly dancing group entertained the guests with their dances.

A huge thank you to everyone who came, bought raffle tickets and supported our campaign.

Hello From Alexander

IMG_3887 2Hello,my name is Alexander I am 12 and go to school in Somerset, UK. On the photo you can see me and my little brother playing, in a field on a dog walk. I think we are very lucky to live here.

My mum showed my photos of the refugee children and I am appalled to see them in that state. I would really like to help them get through their toughest times. That’s why I came up with the idea of Kitsbykids. I hope to be able to fill 100gym bags with toys, toothpaste, toothbrush, emergency blanket,a rain poncho, a warm hat and crayons. I hope to make a difference to at least 100 children in need.
